A beautiful woven basket cake full of flowers
This has to be my favourite buttercream flower cake. I love blue, this blue, and I absolutely love these shades of pink. Funny how the same food colour in different amounts can lead to such a variety of shades. That’s butter for you!

• Two 8″ square milk chocolate mud cakes (2 batches)
• Chocolate chip buttercream – one batch (as above)
• Sweet Buttercream
– 1kg ((2lb 2oz) Blue (4 parts Wilton Cornflour Blue and 1 part Americolor Electric Blue)
– 200g (7oz) three shades of Pink (Sugarflair Ruby)
– 200g (7oz) cream and 50g (1.7oz) taupe (3 parts Americolor Chocolate Brown and 1 part Americolor Super Black)
– 100g each (3.5oz) – two shades of green (Americolor Avocado)
